A Slip Ring can be used in any electromechanical system that requires unrestrained, intermittent or continuous rotation while transferring power. A slip ring is also called a rotary electrical joint, collector or swivel. A slip ring can improve system performance by simplifying operation and eliminating damage prone wires. | This Solid Shaft Slip Ring is designed to mount on the end of a rotating shaft and make electrical connections to strain gauges, thermocouples or other sensors that have been installed on rotating equipment. This unit provides 5 amp circuits in 6, 12, 18 and 24 ring configurations. A high grade stainless steel case provides protection from dust and other contaminants.
